TouchPath has an employment opportunity available in January 2025 for a software consultant/technician to work from home with occasional travel to customer sites. Candidate will be responsible for translating high level business requirements into fully functional code. The applicant for this position is expected to:

• Apply critical thinking skills and experience in the design and implementation of software solutions to meet customer’s business requirements
• Work closely with established customer base to maintain and expand relationships

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree
• Ability to pass a credit check and criminal background check
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of manufacturing/distribution supply chain operations
• A self-starter capable of interacting with all levels of customer personnel from board room to shop floor in a professional manner.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
• 5+ years experience in software solution development/implementation to manufacturing and/or distribution industries
• 5+ Years of working experience with ERP systems and their application modules related to inventory management, warehouse management, manufacturing execution, distribution
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and warehouse business processes such as sales order processing, inventory management, warehouse management, shipping, receiving, WIP, and/or supply chain management
• Expertise in the installation, configuration, and administration of IIS and SQL Server
• 5+ years of development experience with HTML, XML, JavaScript and/or CSS
• 5+ years of experience programming in SQL Relational Databases (SQL-Server, Oracle, MySQL) and a good working knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Management Studio
• Knowledge of SOAP and REST HTTP Web services
• 2+ years of experience with responsive web design, HTML5, Bootstrap, JQUERY
• Knowledge of developing mobile and/or web based applications
• Knowledge of TCP/IPv4 and IPv6
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot mobile data terminals, and vehicle mounted units, knowledge of integration to scales, RFID equipment, IO devices, PLCs and/or other data collection technologies
• Proven capability to learn various integration methods to ERP or other back office systems
• Possess the technical skills required to successfully present technical solutions to non-technical business teams
• Proficient using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
