For those attending inPOWER 25 this week, I am looking forward to seeing everyone. I hope you all have planned your agenda. Please look for emails from Loring from WorkOutLoud on how to use the event website and mobile tools. She has included links to some short videos to help with this process.

As the LX User Group President, I am using this post as an opportunity to kick start the brainstorming and communication that will be a huge part of making inPOWER 25 a success for us  Read more...all.

The following are some sessions where collaboration will be essential.

LX Community Gathering - Tuesday 1:15-2:00pm Hearthside
This will be a great opportunity to meet the other LX customers and the Infor LX team. We will discuss the purpose and mission of the LX User Group and align on what customers want from the board.
Discussion of conference logistics related to LX attendees, the online user group, the enhancement request system, where to find documentation, future webinars, etc.
We will also be looking for additional LX User Group board members!

Infor LX - Customer Feedback on Future Infor LX Development - Wednesday 3:00-3:45 pm Hearthside
This session is an opportunity to talk to Infor product management and developers to provide feedback on what would help you most if it were available in LX. You can provide feedback on all the different layers such as LX, IDF, and Webtop.
So how to think about what to bring up?
- Where has your company modified LX source code?
- What is missing that should be in base?
- What could work better in base LX?
- Are there modules your company has written that interact with base LX? Could those modules be useful for other customers?
- What exit points could other customers benefit from? Should Infor make that functionality part of base?
- Has your company created things for security, compliance, regulations, or auditing that should be part of base LX?

Infor LX- Guiding the Infor LX IDF Roadmap – Wednesday 4:15-5pm Hearthside
Discussion around the creation of new Infor LX IDF Business Objects or improvements to existing objects. These IDF Business Objects could include inquiry, maintenance, transaction, and host jobs. We will define each of these capabilities and seek input on what the LX community would like to see for future development.
So how to think about what to bring up?
- What is missing from the existing IDF LX Business Objects? Fields? Connections to other objects?
- What use cases do you wish were supported? Imports? API functionality?
- What could work better in IDF?
- IDF development started with the maintenance programs (Item Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, etc.) and CEA (eGLI). Where do you want LX to explore going from here with IDF development? What would be the most beneficial or benefit for the effort?

LX User Group Wrap Up Session – Thursday 11:00am – 11:45 – Hearthside
What worked, what didn't and what we should do next year.
We want to hear everyone’s feedback on the conference and ideas for the next time.

The more feedback and direction we can provide Infor the better. This opportunity for collaboration on the product is one of the things that makes working with Infor unique. It is not always the case that a customer has the opportunity to have these types of conversations with the people that directly impact the product. Let's make the most of this opportunity.

The LX lanyards are grey this year. Therefore, be on the lookout for others with grey lanyards to find other LX customers. Show less...
