In August 2022, Infor announced the integration between Infor XA and Infor CPQ Cloud. The integration uses Infor ION BODs (Business Object Documents) between the two solutions. There are XA integrations with both the Enterprise Configurator (EC) and Enterprise Quoting (EQ) applications. In addition, ISE developed a comprehensive application, called Unique Item Generator (UIG), which extends, standardizes, and completes the XA / CPQ integration.

What is CPQ?
Infor Configure Price Quote (CPQ) is a state-of-the-art product configurator that integrates with many Infor ERP software packages, including Infor XA.

Much more than a tool to simply select features and options, Infor CPQ allows complex engineering and manufacturing rules to be stored which drive a configuration process to generate accurate Quotations and Orders.

Infor CPQ provides users (whether internal customer service reps or external dealers,  Read more...distributors, or customers), with a rich graphical user interface. Users can configure products, with optional dynamically generated drawings in 2D or 3D, which can render a truly unique and differentiating experience for your customers.

Upon customer acceptance, Quotes can be converted to XA Customer Orders, with the accompanying configured Bills of Material and Routings which are loaded into EPDM, along with the creation of the Manufacturing Order…. All with a few short keystrokes!
