5 hour hands on build an app workshop. IDF replacements for green screen functionality. This year we will focus on exposing green screen objects. Two exercises will be taught focusing on XA programming but concepts and techniques cross all three platforms; S21, LX and XA. “Allow the Maintenance of Shipment Carrier Information in IDF Level 2” will focus on updating a shipments carrier information in IDF level 2 and “Allow the Maintenance of Customer Order Planning Filters in IDF Level 2” will focus on planning green-screen menu options related to the Hold Code filers. During the workshop, users will learn to build a transaction, build a business object, work with custom code.

5-hour hands on training session targeting those somewhat new to Enterprise Integrator (EI) who would like to go beyond tailoring the User Interface (i.e. screen layouts) and understand the technical capabilities of EI and how to use it to augment and customize your Infor ERP installation to your organizational needs. This workshop is targeted to the technically oriented who want to explore the application extension capabilities of the EI framework by extending the UI over your user-owned database and/or programs to augment the XA user experience. We will work through exercises on logical attributes, code files, action buttons, edits and audits, field level security, discrete domains, relationships, transactions, host processes and publish and subscribe for both Infor and user-owned objects.
