There are over 300 companies who are on support with Infor for System21 and probably several hundred other companies who are using System21 but have gone off support. With the recent formation of the Infor Compass division within Infor that will ensure that this product continues to mature and be s Read more...upported for the long term, there is an opportunity to rebuild the System21 user community. While some companies may be choosing to make an investment in a new ERP system, many Infor customers see an opportunity to extend the value of their System21 investment.

Whatever your status regarding your use of System21, we would welcome your participation in building this user community. How we shape this community will be largely up to those who participate in it. We hope you can participate and help us build our System21 community.

“Enhancement # 65158 is about populating the order lines file when a customer alias item is ordered, as currently we don’t know what SKU was used for an order, and an alias may have  Read more...been used.
If the item ordered is superceded or an alternative item is chosen, these populate COOI55 in the order lines fine, so we thought that the alias requested item could populate this field too.
As previously stated, once the order is placed we don’t know what SKU was used to create the order, so if COOI55 is populated, then we will know.”

From @ElizabethAWatt : She is looking for help about Inventory and Purchasing UOM on Items and how users manage purchases by Box (BX x 12) and Pack (PX x 6) rather than EA.

They are struggling to set this up so I thought this might be a good subject to get user help with?

If you have any answers please reply to this post to share some information that might help others facing the same struggles.

Hi Elizabeth, not sure if I am understanding your question, but I would look at the secondary unit of measure. From the System 21 Inventory manual: "Quantity conversions between different units of measure are possible if you establish these relationships in the Secondary UoMs maintenance task."

Hi Elizabeth. We are looking at this also. You must change the stock to purchase conversion in the item master for this to work. you also cannot have a PO already created.
