One challenge I hear about all the time is the need for a configurator that presents configuration options which do not require an Engineer to respond to. Configuration options that can be responded to by people who are knowledgeable about the product, but who do not necessarily know all the very detailed technical details about the product, such as  Read more...Customer Service Reps and Sales Reps.
Is such a 'middle ground' possible with CPQ? Can CPQ rulesets capture all the necessary data to 100% model a complex configuration without requiring an Engineer to go through a configuration session?
