Shipment Creation with System Link

Hello,

For a long time, we used to use Offline Shipping to proceed our Shipment from our mobile solution (through a call 'AMVOWXFR' ran on the server) . it works fine, but today , we would like to improve / modernize that shipment process and doing it with system-link.
There are some different ways to ship in XA :
- Order entry + Immediate shipment (COM - 1 - 3)
- Pick list + Confirmation (COM - 1 + 2 + 9)
- Direct shipment creation from an order ( Read more...COM - 1- 11- 8)

Has anyone already used System-link to create shipment from outside XA ?
If yes i would be really interested in 😀

i currently use 9.2.2.3 XA releases for my XA environement.

Hi Christophe, partial shipment is not yet available in PowerLink in R9. Thats why it is not available in SystemLink. The SystemLink request can be copied from PowerLink:

Thank you for the reply. About Offline Shipping files built to BO , yes it's a solution but we're not really interested in it.
About R9 and available functions, do we have any access to the Shipment system link request?
i'm not sure to have seen it and i'm not sure it is possible to make a partial shipment neither, am i wrong ?

Hi Christophe,

there are two options:

- you can build business objects for the offline shipping files, which works, but this is not really a modernization.
- in your R9 environment the usage of "native" SystemLink is limited to the available functionality like creating shipments from picklists or creating pick lists from CO's or CO line items.
